Znana aktorka filmowa, urodzona w Malezji. Swoj± karierę zaczynała od konkursu na Miss. W 1983 została Miss Malezji, potem zaczęła grać w reklamach (między innymi z Jackie Chanem).
W 1984 zadebiutowała po raz pierwszy w kinie filmem "Mao tou ying yu xiao fei xiang". Zdarzyło jej się wyst±pić także, znów z Jackie Chanem. Była jedyn± kobiet± w jego otoczeniu, ktróra grała bez dublera. Jednakże tak na prawdę ¶wiatu dała się poznać dopiero w 1997 kiedy wszedł na ekrany film "Jurto nie umiera nigdy" oraz "Przyczajony tygrys, ukryty smok".
W roku 2001 dostała tytuł szlachecki w Malezji, tak zwanego Datuka.
