Urodzona 14 maja 1976 roku Martine McCutcheon, a raczej Martine Ponting, karierę rozpoczęła mając kilka lat, występując w reklamach. Jako 10-latka rozpoczęła pracę na scenie szkoły Italia Conti. Potem została członkinią grupy Milan, która rozpadła się w 1994. Martine dała się poznać jako gwiazda oper mydlanych, ale potem rozpoczęła karierę wokalistki, ma na swoim koncie nawet własną płytę.
