W wieku 15. lat rozpoczęła karierę modelki i pracowała dla agencji Elite. Spędziła cztery miesiące w Paryżu. W 1977 roku wyszła za mąż za Erica Milana, też modela (rozwiedli się w 1984 roku). Na małym ekranie zaczęła od udziału w jednym z odcinków serialu TV "Mike Hammer"(1984). W kinie zadebiutowała epizodem w "Zabójczej broni"(1987) jako jedna z dziewcząt nad basenem (jej nazwisko nawet nie znalazło się w obsadzie). Miała stałą rolę w serialu TV "Wiseguy"(1987-88 jako Susan Profitt . Niedługo potem zagrała w komedii romantycznej Will'a Mackenzie "Worth Winning"(1989). Stała się cenioną specjalistką od ról kobiet bardzo zagadkowych.
