In-Grid Alberini pochodzi z północnych Włoch. Urodziła się 11 września w małym miasteczku Guastalli. Swoje imię odziedziczyła po słynnej gwieżdzie filmowej Ingrid Bergman. Jej rodzice, którzy prowadzili i nadal prowadzą kino, bardzo obdarzyli sympatią aktorkę Ingrid Bergman i właśnie dlatego postanowili tak dać na imię swojej córce. In-Grid dzieciństwo spędziła w kinie swoich rodziców. Dorastała oglądajac filmy i jak sama twierdzi - miały one wpływ na jej wyobra?nię i to one zachęciły ją do dzielenia się swoimi uczuciami z resztą publiczności. Wkrótce odkryła, że swoje uczucia najlepiej wyraża śpiewem.
